Kathy Hamor opened her Breakfast and Chowder House (which is located at Sunrise Inn) on the 4th of July in 2001 and so goes the patriotic theme of the dining area. World circumstances of the year inspired her to keep the patriotic decor permanently.

Since the initial opening of Kathy's, there have been a few changes and adjustments, including the addition of a screened dining area (capable of seating 22 guests) which has created a greater seating capacity.

Kathy's Breakfast & Chowder House serves home made breakfast from open to close, as well as home made breads and delicious lunches which can even be prepared for you to take out and enjoy during your day in Acadia Park.

Daily Specials are offered, and the affordable prices and delectable tastes of her carefully prepared fare make this an excellent choice for anyone, traveler or native.
